SUSD Acceptable Use Policy (AUP)
Purpose:
The purpose of this Acceptable Use Policy (AUP) is to outline the guidelines and expectations for the use of technology resources within the SUSD (School District) community. Our goal is to ensure that technology is used in a responsible, ethical, and educational manner, enhancing the learning environment while safeguarding the integrity of our systems and networks.
Scope:
This policy applies to all students, staff, and visitors who use any technology resources provided by SUSD, including computers, devices, networks, software, and online services.
General Guidelines:
Educational Use Only: Technology resources provided by SUSD should be used primarily for educational purposes. Personal use should not interfere with academic or professional responsibilities.
Respectful Behavior: Users must treat others with respect in all online interactions. Harassment, bullying, or inappropriate language will not be tolerated.
Privacy and Security: Users must protect their personal login credentials and not share them with others. Users are responsible for all activity under their account. Any suspicious activity should be reported immediately.
Prohibited Activities:
Accessing or distributing harmful, illegal, or inappropriate content.
Attempting to gain unauthorized access to systems or networks.
Using technology to disrupt or damage systems or data.
Installing unapproved software or attempting to bypass security measures.

Monitoring:
